Since 1996, ASGN is for the last giraffe population of Niger, is there were only 50 representatives of this species. Thanks to conservation efforts and the fight against poaching, against the destruction of their habitat and with the assistance of local community development and awareness, giraffes have almost reached the number of 220 individuals to date.
